Welcome to Chalzo. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

1. Nature of Service

Chalzo is a shipping aggregator platform that integrates multiple third-party courier partners. We act only as a technology intermediary and do not own or operate any logistics services. Our role is to provide a unified interface for managing shipments across various courier providers.

2. User Eligibility

By using this platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable laws. If you are using our services on behalf of a business entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms.

3. User Responsibilities

To ensure smooth operations, users are expected to:

• Provide accurate shipment details including weight, dimensions, and correct pickup/delivery addresses.
• Ensure proper and secure packaging of goods to prevent damage during transit.
• Comply with all applicable shipping laws, including tax regulations and documentation requirements.
• Maintain the accuracy of their account information at all times.

4. Prohibited Shipments

Users shall not ship restricted or prohibited items through our platform. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Hazardous materials, flammables, or explosives.
• Illegal goods, narcotics, or psychotropic substances.
• Currency, bullion, or precious stones.
• Any items banned by the laws of India or the destination country.

5. Weight Discrepancy

Weight accuracy is critical. If the courier partner identifies a difference between the declared weight and the actual weight (or volumetric weight), additional charges will be applied. These charges will be automatically deducted from the user's wallet balance.

6. Pricing & Charges

• All shipping charges are dynamic and depend on the rates provided by our courier partners.
• GST and other applicable government taxes will be charged additionally on the base shipping rates.
• Additional charges may apply for delivery to remote areas (ODA), fuel surcharges, or special handling requirements.

7. Wallet Usage

Users must maintain a sufficient balance in their Chalzo wallet to use our services. Wallet balances are non-transferable and non-refundable unless explicitly specified in a separate refund policy or required by law.

8. RTO (Return to Origin)

In case of failed delivery attempts (due to incorrect address, recipient unavailability, or refusal), shipments may be returned to the origin address. RTO charges as specified by the courier partner will be applicable and charged to the user.

9. Liability

Chalzo is a technology platform and is not liable for any loss, damage, theft, or delay caused by third-party courier partners. Any liability or insurance claims will be subject to the terms and limits defined by the respective courier partner used for that shipment.

10. Account Security

Users are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials. Any activity performed under your account will be deemed your responsibility. Please notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access.

11. Suspension or Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate user accounts at our discretion for reasons including, but not limited to, misuse of the platform, fraudulent activities, or violation of these Terms & Conditions.

12. Modifications

Chalzo reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the platform after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
